My Hero is
Rhett

About 2 weeks before Rhett’s 1st birthday we noticed petechiae on his wrist so we decided to do some bloodwork and it showed a critically low platelet count and other abnormal results so we were referred to Savannah Children’s hematology and oncology office to do further testing that ended up diagnosing him with Trisomy 21 associated AML. We started chemo about a week later on August 1st and went through 6 1 month long stays at CHOS. Rhett rang the Bell March 1st 2024!! He is thriving now!!!!
