At the age of 15, we discovered Parker had a rare tumor called a Suprasellar Germinoma. He first under went brain surgery to remove the tumor but they quickly realized it was a different type of tumor that could only be shrunk through chemo and radiation. Parker went through 4 rounds of chemo followed by 30 days of radiation. It was a very tough journey that Parker powered through like a champ. At the encouragement of his drs., he even received blood a few times when his counts were low just so he could attend marching band throughout his treatment when he felt up to it! He rang the bell in October of 2023 and is now celebrating clear scans every 6 months!!! Parker is my hero!
