Alex was diagnosed with ALL when he was four. He was almost through with 3 years of treatment when he was diagnosed with AML with monosomy 7. Alex had a rigorous chemo plan and a bone marrow transplant from his sister Julia. A year later at 8 years old he relapsed. He did another treatment plan and a T-Cell transplant from his sister. Two years later he relapsed. He did chemo, radiation and chord blood transplant at Duke. His body couldn’t handle anymore. He earned his angel wings at age 11.
