Jenn Hobby joined CURE as the Brand and Communications Director in 2025. She has experience in media, as a well-known Atlanta personality featured on radio and television for more than 20 years. She has earned two Gracie Awards for her work in radio and an Emmy for her work in TV. Jenn was selected for Atlanta magazine’s exclusive Atlanta 500 list from 2020 through 2025, recognized as one of Atlanta’s top leaders who have shaped the city.
Jenn and her husband, Grant Rivera, superintendent of Marietta City Schools, live in Marietta with their daughters, Lauren and Reese. After their younger daughter, Reese, beat cancer, Jenn and Grant became advocates for childhood cancer research, raising over $717,000 in just 9 years through Reese’s MaGIC Fund at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Their family has launched Reese’s Fund at CURE to continue to support solid tumor research.
In her role, Jenn wants to leverage her storytelling background to help elevate CURE’s brand, amplify the voices of CURE’s brave children and families, and build support for CURE’s mission. “Going through a childhood cancer battle changes you forever. I am passionate about bringing my experience to CURE. It’s where I am meant to be… and serve.”
