Julie came to the Cure Savannah Leadership Council in August 2021 after becoming personally involved with the organization in 2020. Initially, as a parent of a child with cancer, Julie and her family were overwhelmed with the support and genuine concern that was shown to them while their daughter was in treatment. After successful treatment, Julie and her husband Matt felt strongly about giving back to Cure and helping families who find themselves in the traumatic world of childhood cancer. Julie is motivated and very passionate about helping with Savannah’s signature events and other fundraising efforts.
Julie is a native of Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia. She recently accepted a position with Exact Sciences Precision Oncology Division as a Regional Oncogenomic Liaison. She currently lives in Savannah with her husband and two children.
