Anna Charles Hollis

“Our Hope comes in different forms,” explains Anna Charles’ father, Benji. “First and foremost, it’s our faith and trust in God that allows us to look at the future and have an unshakable hope. It’s that hope that gets us through each and every day. But, we also have hope that one day there will be a cure for childhood cancer. Until that day comes, we are going to make sure that we do everything in our power to help find better treatments for all of OUR kids who are battling cancer. They’re all ours. It’s also our hope that we can help to comfort other families in their struggles like so many others have done, and continue to do, for us. If it’s one thing that we have it’s hope.”

Those in attendance at the 6th annual Believe Ball got the privilege of meeting a special young lady named Anna Charles Hollis through the words of her parents, Benji and Leeanna. Despite their loss, they were able to eloquently share her spirit in a humble and hopeful way that affected everyone in the room. That amazing night raised more than $1.3 million in the fight against pediatric cancer and left us all hopeful that we are making a difference.

The video shown that evening encapsulates the girl behind her family’s mission.
