Fight for CURE

Fight for Cure is our annual fundraiser for CURE Childhood Cancer!

We help raise money for children who have and are battling cancer, as well as research!

This young man is Matthew, and he is battling brain cancer. He lives in North Paulding and LOVES trains and space (this year’s rash guard theme)
Matthew was placed in hospice at just 2 years old with an aggressive form of brain cancer, but because of an experimental treatment actually graduated (or flunked out) of hospice care and is now a thriving 14-year-old! And while research is incredible, it’s still lacking! Matthew has to remain on chemo for the rest of his life to keep the cancer in remission, and there is always the very real possibility that the cancer will grow resistant to the chemo. If that happens, he will lose his battle within three months without more research to find a Cure. This is why we fight!
