September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and that means it is time to get ready for Coins4CURE! Coins4CURE is a coin drive fundraiser that any school, business, restaurant, or organization can use to easily raise money and show their support for kids fighting cancer. Since its inception in 2014, Coins4CURE coin drives have raised more than $521,500 for CURE!

As you plan your calendars, please consider organizing another Coins4CURE coin drive for your school, business, neighborhood, restaurant, or sports team. Coin drives can take place in-person or virtually, or even a combination of the two! This year, we have several options for you. You can request a jar and pick it up at the CURE office (200 Ashford Center N, suite 250, Atlanta, GA), have a label shipped to you and use your own jar, create a virtual coin drive, or use your jar from previous years. A: The great thing about Coins4CURE is that it is totally turn-key! We supply you with all the materials you will need to run a successful coin drive.

Q: I’m ready to have a coin drive. How do I sign up my school, business, or organization?

Q: I have completed my coin drive, now what?

A: Once your coin drive is complete, take your coin jar to a local coin counter near you.

We highly suggest calling a Credit Union or Bank prior to your visit to confirm that they have a coin counter on site. If they do, take your filled coin jar to the coin counter, count your coins, and ask the teller for a money order made payable to CURE Childhood Cancer.
