Amanda joined CURE Childhood Cancer in August 2023 as the Development Manager, Events, South Georgia. She holds a Master’s of Tourism Administration in Event & Meeting Management from The George Washington University and brings over 15 years of non-profit event management experience. Prior to joining CURE, Amanda’s career has been in higher education, most recently as the Assistant Director, Special Events and Protocol at Georgia Southern University.
In her role, Amanda manages and assists with planning CURE’s events in the South Georgia region. She hopes to use her knowledge and experience to continue to grow the impact that these events have on patients and families in the area as well as increase the funding that they raise in support of CURE’s mission.
