Liz Bunder joined CURE in November 2023 as the Development Director, Individual Giving. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Kennesaw State University, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and has dedicated her career to non-profit work since 2009. Prior to her role at CURE, Liz served as a Development Officer for the Wellstar Foundation, an arm of the Wellstar Health System. She has also served as Development Director for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. Liz has exclusively fundraised for missions that directly benefit children and families throughout her career. She strives to thoughtfully connect donors to the impact of generosity and the transformational joy and change it can bring.
“CURE’s mission is unique in that it has a goal of ceasing to exist – to eliminate the need for funding research and supporting childhood cancer – because cures will be readily available. Fundraising for CURE is imperative, and I believe supporters of CURE can truly help us accomplish this mission in our lifetime.”
Liz loves spending time with her husband and daughter in her spare time, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and gardening. Her family spends many weekends on the family farm where she grew up.
