Sam Robb Fund Events

The Sam Robb Fund holds three annual events to fund the fellowships of young pediatric oncologists as Sam Robb Fellows and support families in the thick of the battle with childhood cancer through CURE’s Counseling Program. Since Sam was such a gifted athlete who loved to play sports, all three events are sports-related.

Through these events, the Sam Robb Fund has raised more than $1 million in the fight against childhood cancer.

Sam Robb Memorial Holiday Classic

Held in the last week of December, the Sam Robb Memorial Holiday Classic is a basketball tournament for boys and girls in grades 3-8.

In its thirteenth year, this tournament is a tribute to Sam and his perseverance to be an athlete no matter the obstacles.

Play is spread between Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, Marist School, St. Jude, Our Lady of the Assumption, Queen of Angels, and Holy Redeemer Catholic School. Teams of boys and girls compete in two divisions: CMLA for grades 3-8 and a competitive open division for grades 7 and 8.
