Makenzie joined CURE Childhood Cancer in August 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University and brings several years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement. In her role, she works with donors, volunteers, community partners, and the Savannah Leadership Council to grow support for CURE’s mission throughout South Georgia.
Passionate about building meaningful relationships, Makenzie enjoys connecting people to opportunities to make a difference. She especially loves bringing communities together in support of the children and families CURE serves and is grateful to work alongside so many dedicated supporters who help advance CURE’s mission every day.
