After 11 years as a volunteer, Lisa became part of the CURE staff in 2015. She previously worked as a Senior Consultant for Deloitte & Touche before moving into the nonprofit sector. She served as a Senior Manager for Coxe Curry & Associates where she managed The Woodruff Arts Center corporate campaign, and then as a Major Gifts Officer for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation.
Lisa’s firstborn son, Mitchell is a healthy, 19-year cancer survivor. When he was diagnosed at 18 months old with a Wilms tumor, she became very involved in the childhood cancer community which led her to her role at CURE. Her main responsibility is to support patient families at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Centers of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her goal is to connect community resources to patient family needs and ease their burden as much as possible. Lisa’s passion is to bring them moments of joy during long clinic visits and hospital stays.
