Lisa Odendahl, Senior Manager, Patient and Family Services

Lisa became very involved in the childhood cancer community in 2000 when her firstborn son, Mitchell, was diagnosed at 17 months old with a Wilms Tumor. Once his cancer was in remission, she served as a CURE Open Arms volunteer for 11 years before joining the staff in 2015 as the Patient Family Liaison. Her main responsibility is to manage CURE’s Family Outreach program, and it’s her privilege to support families who have a child with cancer and ease their burden as much as possible. Lisa’s passion is to bring them moments of joy during long clinic visits and hospital stays.

She previously worked as a Senior Consultant for Deloitte & Touche before moving into the nonprofit sector. She served as a Senior Manager for Coxe Curry & Associates, where she managed The Woodruff Arts Center corporate campaign, and then as a Major Gifts Officer for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation.
