Steffi Yellin is the Chief Deputy Clerk to Ms. Tammie Mosley, who is the Chatham County Clerk of Superior Court. Ms. Yellin attended Savannah Country Day School before going on to Brown University, where she was a four-year member of the Division I women’s soccer team. She continued her education at the Cardozo School of Law in New York. After law school, Ms. Yellin practiced as a Public Defender in both Colorado and Georgia. She has been admitted to practice law in Georgia, Colorado, and Arkansas.
A native Savannahian, Ms. Yellin returned home and joined the Clerk’s Office in 2024. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her wife and their dogs, Uni and Bento. Cancer has had a first-hand impact on Steffi’s family. Those experiences have fueled her commitment to organizations like CURE; Steffi was previously involved in CURE’s Open Arms Meals Program. Building on that experience, she now proudly serves on CURE’s Savannah Leadership Council, helping to advance the organization’s mission of providing compassionate support, research, and resources to families facing childhood cancer.
