“My involvement with CURE began when our daughter Hannah was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma at age 13. After being admitted to the ICU shortly before midnight, a nurse walked in with a healthy and nutritious meal delivered by CURE earlier that day. From that moment, CURE was by our side, connecting us to counseling services, support, and devoted and knowledgeable staff. Following six months of chemo and immunotherapy as part of a clinical trial, Hannah is now cancer-free and thriving! But sadly, this isn’t always the outcome for childhood cancer patients. As a result of Hannah’s journey, we’ve made it our family mission to do everything we can to help other families, fund critical research, and find a cure for this heartbreaking disease. I am honored and excited to work with such an impactful organization as CURE to ensure every diagnosed child becomes a survivor.”
