“I originally became involved with CURE in a volunteer capacity through Lauren’s Run and silent auction committees. While never having experienced childhood cancer directly, I have seen multiple friends battle childhood cancer within their families, and I’ve been struck by the impact that the experience has had on their families both during and after treatment. The lack of focused treatment for children struck me, and CURE’s focus on funding research that is likely to be beside in five years is compelling. I’m very proud to be a part of an organization focused on improving outcomes for our children and providing support for families as they fight the disease.”
