More Than 150 Golfers Tee Off in the 29th Golf Classic benefiting CURE
The 29th annual Golf Classic was one for the ages. More than 150 golfers teed off at The Oaks Golf Course in Covington on September 28 for an amazing day. The preliminary total of money raised is $75,000 – all benefiting CURE Childhood Cancer. That is a fantastic amount and should climb even higher once the final count is made.
It takes an army to put on such an event. Led by Joe Coleman, many organizers contribute its success. Over the years, the Golf Classic has thrived because of countless volunteers, generous corporate sponsors, and the support of The Oaks Course.
Please mark your calendars now for September 27, 2019 for the 30th year of the Golf Classic benefiting CURE.
