Lost Plantation Charity Open

July 13 @ 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

Join us for the 2019 Lost Plantation Charity Open, a Disc Golf Tournament benefiting CURE Childhood Cancer! This tournament is a great way to introduce the city of Rincon to the sport of disc golf and raise some serious money for a tremendous charity.

PDGA COMPETITION ENDOWMENT EVENT

This is a one-day C-tier sanctioned disc golf tournament using the beautiful Lost Plantation Golf in Rincon, GA. The event is being operated under the PDGA’s Competition Endowment Program which guarantees the following:

– The PDGA will donate their $2 per player fee to CURE.

– The event will match the PDGA fee and donate an additional $2 per player to CURE.

– 25% of the remaining entry fee (minus greens fees) from each player will go directly to our charity, CURE.

– The remaining balance of the entry fees will be used for player payouts!

Additionally, donations through our sponsors beyond tournament cost will be added to player packs, payouts, and green fees. This allows more of your entry fee to go to charity and increases our total donation to CURE! Interested in becoming a sponsor? Read more in the Sponsorship section below!

Per the PDGA CEP program requirements, a full tournament turnout guarantees a minimum donation of nearly $1,500 to CURE! So tell your friends about this event and come out and play!

PRIZES

Prize payouts for amateurs will be provided via credits for merchandise. Pros will be playing for CASH!

THE COURSE

The 18-hole disc golf course will be arranged on top of 9-hole section of the Lost Plantation Golf Club. The design will feature a variety of holes, including long/power drives, tight/wooded fairways, left and right doglegs, water lined approaches, and lake clearing drives. Golf carts will be provided for the tournament, and the clubhouse features a full restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

FORMAT

All competitors will play two rounds of 18 holes. Round 2 will begin an hour after the last card is turned in from round 1.

$5K/$10K GROW DISC GOLF ACE RACE CHALLENGE

Are you ready for a throw with some serious pressure? All players will be provided automatic entry into the Ace Race Challenge and have a chance to win either $5,000 or $10,000 if they throw an ace on the designated hole during round 2!

The challenge will take place on a 295-300 foot hole with an open fairway and no obstructions between the teepad and the green. That means it’s just you and the basket! Hit the ace, and Grow Disc Golf will award you $5,000! If the disc thrown is documented as a Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, or Westside Discs disc, the award will be DOUBLED to $10,000.00! WHAAAT!!

All drives will be filmed and documented from the tee pad. Players must state their name and the disc they are throwing into the camera before they throw their shot. Good luck!!
