My sweet boy, Saarim, was diagnosed with Wilms tumor at the age of 4. Quickly rushed into the ER due to immense pain in his abdomen and there we got the horrible news. Throughout surgery, loosing a kidney, radiation and 20 rounds of chemo, my son was still the sunshine to our gloomy days. He never complained or did we ever see him sad, always a happy boy! After 8 long months, he did it!! He was out of treatment and on his was to recovery. Almost 2 years later, he’s doing awesome!
