Our son Dominic was diagnosed with MLL-rearranged acute myeloid leukemia on July 14th 2020. He was considered high risk, and treatment typically involves high dose chemotherapy to induce remission followed by bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Our son never made it to transplant and only fought for 4 months, he died on Nov. 14th just after his 2nd birthday on Nov. 4th.
