Bailey was diagnosed with stage 1 embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma right before her 8th birthday last year. She held her daddy and I strong as we told her the diagnosis. She thrived through countless specialist appointments and endured 28 proton radiation treatments to her head. She met her best friend and “sister” during that time and then soon learned the devastating heartbreak of loss of that loved one to this terrible disease. Bailey is so strong and tough! One day I hope to be like her.
