Young Professional Leadership Council

Expectations of the Young Professional Leadership Council:

  • Fulfill a two year term (August 2019 – June 2021)
  • Attend annual kick-off retreat scheduled each August
  • Attend or participate in monthly meetings/conference calls (set date/time to be determined by incoming class)
  • Attend quarterly activity – serving Open Arms, social gatherings or Spring Fever planning meetings
  • Attend end of fiscal year board meeting (June) to hear updates on research funding and strategic planning
  • Support Spring Fever (March 27, 2020) efforts in the following ways:
    • Personal Patron Level Sponsorship ($250)
    • Procure $2,500 worth of in-kind sponsorship or cash sponsorship
    • Sell a minimum of five tickets to the event
  • Attend at least one of CURE Childhood Cancer’s other signature events as a guest or volunteer
    • Quiet Heroes – September 28, 2019
    • Out of the Kitchen – October 30, 2019
    • Lauren’s Run – April 26, 2020
    • Believe Ball – May 9, 2020

  • Build their professional network while gaining personal satisfaction of helping to advance CURE’s mission
  • Have the opportunity to network with business and community leaders in Atlanta
