Kerry Kavlie joined the team at CURE in July of 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. After teaching for three years, she took an almost 10-year hiatus from the workforce to raise her two children. Kerry was first introduced to CURE in the late summer of 2012 when her daughter, Rachel, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at her 24-month-old well check. Shortly thereafter, the family became strong advocates for the world of pediatric oncology and sought to spread awareness around their community. Kerry dedicated much of her free time volunteering for various organizations and gaining experience that would help her in her role as Patient Family Services Manager for the Savannah area.
In her role, Kerry coordinates various events, programs, and activities that ensure the patients and families in the Savannah area are loved and provided for.
