“I was introduced to CURE by an advisory council member on the same day we recognized the Remission Day for a member of my team who is a childhood cancer survivor. Some may call it a coincidence, but I didn’t.  From there, I learned more about CURE and all of the wonderful people involved in making it a success. I wanted to get involved in whatever I can to support both research to find a cure, and to comfort to children and families who have to endure this horrific disease. I also desire to bring awareness and understanding to both research partners and underrepresented communities so that we can better engage people of color along this journey of hope: from diagnosis and clinical trials to solutions and remission.”
