CURE serves lunches and dinners on regularly scheduled dates at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston & Scottish Rite campuses) and Memorial Children's Hospital in Savannah, GA.
Brown Bag lunches are delivered to the patient's caregiver who may not have the opportunity to leave their child's bedside, or cannot afford to eat yet another meal in the hospital cafeteria.
Especially upon initial diagnosis, families spend unplanned time in the hospital. CURE provides toiletry bags to families who may not have packed for an overnight stay. You may collect and donate supplies for these toiletry bags, which CURE will distribute to families.
Children battling cancer spend days, weeks, or even months living in the hospital. CURE enjoys offering “Boredom Buster Bags” to children of ALL ages, offering them a little bit of joy to break up their day. You may collect supplies and assemble Boredom Buster Bags, which CURE will distribute to children inpatient.
For families battling cancer, the financial burden of eating out for a majority of meals can really add up. CURE provides families with snack bags to help ease the burden. You may collect and assemble non-perishable snack bags, which CURE will distribute to families. (Please note, no additional notes or information may be included in these snack bags.)
