Each year CURE hosts four signature events, uniting our community and raising funds to support our mission. In addition to these signature events, numerous individuals, groups and organizations from our community selflessly host events in which CURE is the beneficiary. Recognized as one of Atlanta’s premier social and philanthropic events, the Believe Ball sells out quickly. The 2017 Believe Ball was hosted by Chris & Tom Glavine and Sylvia & Pat Tylka. Honoring CURE founder, Dr. Abdel Ragab, the touching event featured a tribute by Senator Dick Gephardt and raised over $1 million.
Lauren’s Run, our annual 5K/2K run/walk is held in memory of Lauren Zagoria and Lauren Kochman, both of whom lost their battles with cancer. Thousands of people participate each year, making it a special run like no other. Immediately afterwards, participants and CURE families enjoy the CURE Annual Picnic, filled with games, prizes, crafts, food, music and fun!
CURE Madness is your way to give back to CURE Childhood Cancer while having fun competing in our March Madness bracket competition! Create a friendly competition amongst your friends, family and co-workers by inviting them to participate in the bracket. You can play with confidence knowing you are supporting kids with cancer AND having fun! Do you have what it takes to win it all?
Join us at the 14th Annual “A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes” as we honor the mothers of children diagnosed with cancer. Our 13th annual luncheon was a day to remember, with more than 550 guests in attendance and raising $400,000 to further CURE’s mission. Over the past decade, this event has raised more than $4 million for CURE Childhood Cancer.
Join us at our 2nd Annual Spring Fever, hosted by CURE Childhood Cancer’s Young Professional Leadership Council. Enjoy great music and delicious food provided by top local restaurants at The Stave Room, a unique Atlanta venue boasting a refined yet rustic interior with warm urban charm.
Each day in September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, CURE shares the unique stories of children who have been diagnosed with cancer. At the same time, these brave families fight back, setting a goal to raise $1000 to support life-saving pediatric cancer research.
